A.  ES (Expert System) :

1. Definition :-
   - To replace need of human expert
   - with artificial intelligence of computerized system.
2. Requirement reasons :-
   i) Non-availability of experts.
   ii) Expensive expertise of professionals.
3. Use – at Tactical and strategic level only.
4. Example – Tax calculation software which only requires input of limited information, rest of calculations and logics are applied by its programmed formulas.
