- System Entropy – System becomes chaotic if no maintenance is provided or error removed. It is called system entropy. System entropy needs to be cured. e.g. if system can’t open many application at a single point of time, It’s System Entropy. Solution is to increase RAM and Paging file, it is called negative entropy.
- System stress – Regular and faster response to business operations causes stress on system which is transferred to sub-systems. Thus whole system comes under overload of processing which is termed as system stress. Types of system stress are :-
A) Increased Level at same processing speed – e.g. new objectives are introduced in the organization.
B) Increased processing speed at same level – e.g. increased performance level is required without change in objectives.
System Change – With ongoing system stress, changes are required so that system may fit in new environment. It is called system change.
